Privacy Policy
Fun Charades · Last updated: 15 July 2026This Privacy Policy describes how Pinakin Labs ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you play Fun Charades (the "App") on iOS and Android. It applies to the App as distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and is the policy linked from the App's Settings screen and both store listings.
The short version:
- You can play without creating an account.
- Optional sign-in (Google Play Games on Android; Apple's game services on iOS where available) lets you save purchases and custom decks across devices.
- The App shows ads and offers in-app purchases; ad partners use your device's advertising identifier, subject to the consent choices you make.
- We never sell your personal information, and we never see your payment card details.
1. Information you give us
- Game-services sign-in (optional). If you sign in with Google Play Games or Apple's game services, we receive your player ID and display name so we can link your progress, coins, purchases and custom decks to your account.
- Custom decks. Decks you create are stored on your device. If you use cloud sync or share a deck by code, the deck's content is stored on our servers (Google Firebase) so it can be restored or shared.
- Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data via Google Firebase Analytics: device model, operating system, language, country (approximate, from IP), app events such as screens viewed, games played and decks opened, and app instance identifiers.
- Crash data via Firebase Crashlytics: crash traces and device state at the time of a crash, used only to find and fix bugs.
- Advertising data via our advertising partners (see section 4): your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, subject to App Tracking Transparency on iOS), ad impressions and interactions.
- Purchase confirmations from Apple or Google when you buy something, so we can grant what you bought.
3. How we use information
- Operate the game: save progress, coins, unlocked decks and VIP status, and sync them across your devices when you sign in.
- Improve the game: understand which decks and features are played, find and fix crashes.
- Show and measure ads, including rewarded ads you choose to watch, and grant their rewards.
- Process and restore purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Show reminder notifications you have enabled; you can turn these off in the App's settings or your device settings.
4. Advertising and your choices
The App shows ads mediated by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource), with ad networks including Google AdMob and other networks participating in mediation. These partners may use your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings; if you decline, ads are non-personalized.
- On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt controls whether the advertising identifier is shared; if you decline, ads are not personalized using it.
- On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in system settings.
- Purchasing the App's ad-removal or VIP products stops interstitial and banner ads (rewarded ads remain available where you choose to watch them).
5. Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases (coin packs, deck unlocks, ad removal) and the VIP subscription are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never receive your card or bank details — only a confirmation that a purchase happened, which we use to grant and restore your items. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
6. Where your data lives
Account-linked data (purchases, coins, custom decks, sync data) is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) data centers, which may be located outside your country. Transfers are protected by the safeguards our providers offer, including standard contractual clauses.
7. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that make the App work — Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play services), Unity (LevelPlay/ironSource and participating ad networks), and Apple — and where the law requires it. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments, and we require that they protect your data to the same or equal standard as described in this policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ad partners described above.
8. Retention and deletion
- Account-linked data is kept while your account is active.
- Analytics and crash data are retained per our providers' standard periods, then aggregated or deleted.
- Local data (settings, downloaded decks, custom decks not synced) can be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.
- To delete your account data (sign-in link, synced purchases and decks), use our account deletion page or email pinakinlabsdev@gmail.com, telling us your player name and platform — we will verify and delete within 30 days.
9. Children
Fun Charades is a family-friendly game, but it is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent (such as the ad-consent choice) without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. EEA/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. California and other US-state residents have equivalent rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any right, email pinakinlabsdev@gmail.com.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with reputable providers (Google Cloud / Firebase). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit collection to what the App needs and restrict access to it.
12. Third-party privacy policies
- Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play services) — policies.google.com/privacy · Firebase privacy
- Unity / ironSource LevelPlay — unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Apple — apple.com/legal/privacy
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it at this address and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be flagged inside the App.
