Privacy Policy
Fun Charades · Switch Hit · Last updated: 13 October 2026This Privacy Policy describes how Pinakin Labs ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you play our games Fun Charades and Switch Hit (each an "App") on iOS and Android. It applies to each App as distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and is the policy linked from each App's Settings screen and store listings.
Our games don't all collect the same things. The table shows what each one uses; each game's own part below explains it, and the sections at the end apply to all of them.

Fun Charades
In this part, "the App" means Fun Charades.
The short version:
- You can play without creating an account.
- Optional sign-in (Google Play Games on Android; Apple's game services on iOS where available) lets you save purchases and custom decks across devices.
- The App shows ads and offers in-app purchases; ad partners use your device's advertising identifier, subject to the consent choices you make.
- We never sell your personal information, and we never see your payment card details.
1. Information you give us
- Game-services sign-in (optional). If you sign in with Google Play Games or Apple's game services, we receive your player ID and display name so we can link your progress, coins, purchases and custom decks to your account.
- Custom decks. Decks you create are stored on your device. If you use cloud sync or share a deck by code, the deck's content is stored on our servers (Google Firebase) so it can be restored or shared.
- Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data via Google Firebase Analytics: device model, operating system, language, country (approximate, from IP), app events such as screens viewed, games played and decks opened, and app instance identifiers.
- Crash and diagnostic data via Firebase Crashlytics and our advertising partners: crash traces, device state at the time of a crash, and performance and other diagnostic data such as load times and SDK errors — used to find and fix bugs and to measure ad delivery.
- Advertising data via our advertising partners (see section 4): your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, subject to App Tracking Transparency on iOS), ad impressions and interactions, and approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address. We never collect precise location, and the App never asks for location permission.
- Purchase confirmations from Apple or Google when you buy something, so we can grant what you bought. Our in-app purchase library, Unity In-App Purchasing, also reports each purchase attempt to Unity (see section 5).
3. How we use information
- Operate the game: save progress, coins, unlocked decks and VIP status, and sync them across your devices when you sign in.
- Improve the game: understand which decks and features are played, find and fix crashes.
- Show and measure ads, including rewarded ads you choose to watch, and grant their rewards.
- Process and restore purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Show reminder notifications you have enabled; you can turn these off in the App's settings or your device settings.
4. Advertising and your choices
The App shows ads mediated by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource), with participating ad networks including Google AdMob, Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network. These partners may use your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings; if you decline, ads are non-personalized.
- On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt controls whether the advertising identifier is shared; if you decline, ads are not personalized using it.
- On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in system settings.
- Purchasing the App's ad-removal or VIP products stops interstitial and banner ads (rewarded ads remain available where you choose to watch them).
5. Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases (coin packs, deck unlocks, ad removal) and the VIP subscription are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never receive your card or bank details — only a confirmation that a purchase happened, which we use to grant and restore your items. Our in-app purchase library, Unity In-App Purchasing, also sends Unity a record of each purchase attempt — the product, price and currency, the store's transaction record, and basic device details (model, operating system, language, storage size, device boot time, the App's install time, and on iOS the vendor identifier) — which Unity uses for purchase analytics under its own privacy policy (see section 17). It never includes your name, email address or payment details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
6. Where your data lives
Account-linked data (purchases, coins, custom decks, sync data) is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) data centers, which may be located outside your country. Transfers are protected by the safeguards our providers offer, including standard contractual clauses.
7. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that make the App work — Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play services), Unity (LevelPlay/ironSource, Unity Ads, In-App Purchasing), Meta (Audience Network), and Apple — and where the law requires it. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments, and we require that they protect your data to the same or equal standard as described in this policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ad partners described above.
8. Retention and deletion
- Account-linked data is kept while your account is active.
- Analytics and crash data are retained per our providers' standard periods, then aggregated or deleted.
- Local data (settings, downloaded decks, custom decks not synced) can be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.
- To delete your account data (sign-in link, synced purchases and decks), use our account deletion page or email pinakinlabsdev@gmail.com, telling us your player name and platform — we will verify and delete within 30 days.
Switch Hit
In this part, "the App" means Switch Hit, our cricket quiz game.
The short version:
- The App shows ads, including short videos you can choose to watch for a hint or an extra ball. It sells one optional in-app purchase, Remove Ads; Google Play or the App Store handles the payment, and we never see your payment details. There's no account of our own. If you use Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iPhone), the App signs you in with it.
- We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and we never see what you type in the game.
- The App sends usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase, under random IDs made for your installation, so we can fix bugs and improve the levels.
- Our ad partners receive your device's advertising ID, your approximate location and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads. On iPhone they get the advertising ID only if you allow tracking when the App asks; you can change that any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. We don't sell your data for money. Under some US state laws, ad partners' use of it for targeted ads can count as selling or sharing it; in those states you can opt out any time in the App's Settings → Ad privacy choices. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the App first asks for your consent with Google's consent form, and you can change your choice in the same place.
9. What stays on your phone
Your progress, streak, hints, collected player cards and settings are saved on your device. The App also keeps a copy of your progress in your own account, so it can come back on a new phone: in Play Games saved games on Android (when you're signed in) and in iCloud on iPhone. Google and Apple store that copy for you; we don't receive it and can't see it. The Play Games or Game Center name the App shows stays on your device. Uninstalling the App deletes what's on your device; the copy in your account stays there.
10. What the App collects
The App uses three Google Firebase services. All three work with pseudonymous identifiers: random IDs created for this installation of the App, not linked to your name, email address or phone number.
- Firebase Analytics records how the App is used: for example when a level starts and ends, its difficulty, how many balls it took, when a hint is used, when the share button is tapped, how far you get in the tutorial, and which ads were shown and what they earned. It also records basic device and app information (device model, operating system and version, app version, language, and when the App was first opened and last used) and your approximate location (country, region or city), which Google works out from your IP address; the IP address itself isn't kept. Identifiers used: an app instance ID and a Firebase installation ID. Firebase Analytics doesn't use your device's advertising ID.
- Firebase Crashlytics records crash logs and diagnostics when something goes wrong: what the App was doing when it failed (the stack trace), device model, operating system version, app version, free memory and storage, and a Crashlytics installation ID.
- Firebase Remote Config lets us change a few game settings without an app update, such as how often ads appear between levels and when the App asks for a rating. The App downloads these settings using its installation ID; it sends nothing else.
- Ads. The App shows ads through Unity LevelPlay (ironSource), with ad networks including Google AdMob, Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network. To choose, show and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud, these partners collect: your device's advertising ID (Google's on Android; on iPhone, Apple's only if you allow tracking when the App asks); basic device information (model, operating system, language, screen size); your approximate location, worked out from your IP address; and which ads were shown, watched or tapped. If you don't allow tracking on iPhone, ads aren't personalised with your advertising identifier. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the App asks for your consent with Google's consent form before any ad loads, and passes your choice to every ad partner; if you don't consent, ads aren't personalised. In US states with privacy laws, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted ads, and we pass that choice to every ad partner too. Both are in the App's Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Firebase collects only in the released App, not in our development builds.
Google Play Games (Android). If you use Google Play Games, it signs you in automatically when the App opens. Google then shares your Play Games gamer name, avatar and player ID with the App so Settings can show who is signed in; the App keeps them on your phone and doesn't send them to us. Play Games itself collects analytics and diagnostics to run and improve the service, under Google's privacy policy.
Game Center (iPhone). If you're signed in to Game Center, Apple shares your Game Center nickname and player ID with the App so Settings can show who is signed in; the App keeps them on your phone and doesn't send them to us. Apple runs Game Center under its own privacy policy.
11. How we use it
To run and improve the App: to find and fix crashes, to see which levels are too hard or too easy, to learn which features players use, and to show ads, including the videos you choose to watch, and give their rewards. We don't build profiles of individual players.
12. Sharing
Google provides Firebase as our service provider and processes this information for us under its terms, possibly on servers outside India. Our ad partners (Unity LevelPlay and ironSource, Google AdMob, Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network) receive the advertising data described in section 10 and use it under their own privacy policies to show and measure ads; on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings, and on iPhone you can allow or stop tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; either stops ads being personalised with it. Google Play Games is Google's own service and Game Center is Apple's, which you use under your agreements with them. We don't sell or rent this information to anyone for money (for US states' opt-out, see section 10), and we would disclose it only if the law required us to.
13. Retention and deletion
- Crash reports are deleted after 90 days.
- Analytics event data is deleted after at most 14 months. Summary reports built from it (such as "how many players finished level 10") contain no identifiers and may be kept longer.
- Uninstalling the App stops all collection straight away and deletes the data on your device.
- Ad partners keep the advertising data they receive under their own privacy policies (section 17).
- You can see, manage or delete your Play Games profile and the App's Play Games data in the Play Games app or your Google Account; Game Center is managed in your iPhone's Settings app.
- To ask us to delete the analytics and crash data from your device, email pinakinlabsdev@gmail.com with your device model and roughly when you played. Because this data isn't linked to your name or email address, we may not be able to single out your records; if we can't, it is still deleted automatically on the schedule above.
For all our games
14. Children
Fun Charades is a family-friendly game, but it is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Switch Hit is made for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13 either. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent (such as the ad-consent choice) without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. EEA/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. California and other US-state residents have equivalent rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any right, email pinakinlabsdev@gmail.com.
16. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with reputable providers (Google Cloud / Firebase). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit collection to what each App needs and restrict access to it.
17. Third-party privacy policies
Switch Hit uses Google (Firebase, AdMob and Play Games), Unity (LevelPlay, ironSource and Unity Ads), Meta (Audience Network) and, on iPhone, Apple (Game Center); Fun Charades uses all of the providers below.
- Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play services) — policies.google.com/privacy · Firebase privacy
- Unity (LevelPlay/ironSource, Unity Ads, In-App Purchasing) — unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Meta (Audience Network) — facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Apple — apple.com/legal/privacy
18. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it at this address and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be flagged inside the App concerned. If a game starts collecting something new, for example if cloud save comes to Switch Hit, we update its part of this page before that version is released.
19. Contact and governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. The data controller for each App is Pinakin Labs.
